sjDANCEco’s annual fall concert premiers new choreographies by artistic directors Maria Basile and Gary Masters as well as company choreographers Heather Cooper and Hsiang Hsiu Lin at the California Theater in downtown San Jose. Since 2008, sjDANCEco has been commitment to bringing the master works of American modern dance choreographer, Jose Limon to the stage. Among them include, The Walstein Sonata, The Winged, There is a Time, Missa Brevis and this upcoming season will be The Moor’s Pavane. In collaboration with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra conducted by Barbara Day Turner, sjDANCEco features live music from local composers such as Michael Touchi and Michael Chang.
